We are seeking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic, and hardworking Art, Food & DT Technician to join our dedicated and established curriculum teams. Working under the supervision of the Department Leads, the successful candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting practical, academic activities across our Art, Design & Technology, and Food subject areas.

The purpose of this multi-disciplinary role is to provide essential assistance to classroom teachers and students, maintaining safe, clean, and productive workshop and studio environments. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, possesses a friendly, positive attitude, and can operate flexibly across a range of practical duties. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, take responsibility for their own personal development, and work collaboratively to support all students—ensuring an equitable educational experience where every young person has the resources they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

The role provides essential support to classroom teachers and students, helping to maintain safe, clean, and productive workshop and studio environments. The post holder will operate across Art, Design & Technology and Food practical activities, assisting with preparation, demonstration, and supervision as required.
