Join us as a Technical Solutions Manager in London. Report directly to the National Solutions Manager and play a key role in maximizing market share and sales by building relationships with specifiers and key contractors, delivering solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the solutions selling strategy, growth and lead generation within your defined area.
- Deliver solutions to specifiers and contractors to build a bank of sales that can be delivered through our distribution partners.
- Work closely with the Technical Solutions team to provide technical support and solution design, securing specifications with a focus on decarbonization.
- Identify opportunities for utilizing existing brands for acquisition and growth in new sectors within the HVAC sector.
- Embrace the company vision and values, managing sales activity with an organised, proactive approach.
- Deliver the budget and build the project pipeline, meeting and exceeding all KPIs outlined by management.
- Manage day‑to‑day activities, reports and communications.
- Forecast demand and identify trends through close relationships with key customers and decision makers.
- Work on multiple projects at different stages simultaneously, providing detailed consultations with design engineers and contractors.
- Negotiate and manage the needs and expectations of customers, influencing buying decisions.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a technical and engineering discipline or educational attainment at HND/Degree level.
- Proven track record of delivering lead generation and sales across multiple channels and market segments.
- Experience in senior level negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to use mathematical concepts to create solutions for presentation and implementation to a non‑technical audience.
- Highly numerate, able to turn data into actionable information.
- Strong understanding of market, products and services; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Broad knowledge of UK construction and routing to market.
- Excellent communication across all levels, with strong electronic, written and oral communication abilities.
- Experience across multiple construction segments and applications.
