An exciting vacancy has arisen within our Maintenance team for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to support with planned maintenance and corrective activities.
Please note this role is being offered on permanent Double Day shifts.
Responsibilities:

Maintain and find fault with a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including stainless steel fabrication, CNC/Robotic machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant, etc.

Hydraulic + Pneumatic experience essential.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Qualified in a relevant mechanical discipline.

Proven mechanical fitting experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment.

Able to read and follow mechanical drawings.

Competent with bench and machine fitting.
-
A proven working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Competent with lifting/slinging.
-
Capable of working unsupervised when required – alone or as part of the team.

PC literate.

Basic welding competence (preferable but not essential).

FLT driving license/experience (preferable but not essential).
-
IPAF license to drive MEWP’s i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential).

Current driving license.
