About the Role
The main purpose of the role will be to deliver detailed heating and hot water system designs to a high standard to meet both legislative and customer requirements, to achieve the overall project goals for the customer.
Working closely with the customer and Specification sales teams to create detailed bespoke system designs from concept to delivery.
Ensuring solution offerings meet with customer and legislative requirements, in a timely manner in-line with the departments set SLA’s and to meet the customers project timelines
Key Responsibilities

To represent Baxi Design in a professional manner and handle a range of enquiries from customers, to develop heating and hot water solutions to meet specific project requirements

The generation of heating and plumbing designs for new build properties for major housebuilders in full compliance with legislative requirements and meeting the customers’ requirements and project goals.

Provide system designs to specification in-line with the departments SLA’s

Completion system design revisions in a timely manner in-line with the departments SLA’s

To support a follow up design service, including provision of handover documentation and performance details relative to the system design.

To provide a follow up service to clients regarding technical enquiries relating to the specific projects and company products

To be able to create and manage spreadsheets using Excel for data capture and update as necessary, create and maintain document control systems as required.

Keep up to date with UK & Ire legislation and product technologies within the Heating and Hot Water sector.

The ability to create product BIM models to support the residential product portfolio’s
About You
-
Educated to HNC level in building services or higher
-
Specialist knowledge of Heating & ventilating industry within the residential housing sector with a broad knowledge of standards, legislation and legal compliances within the industry.

A proven track record of technical competence within heating and plumbing HVAC industry

Formal training and experience of Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD, PARACAD & Revit

Proven project management experience and an ability to apply technical knowledge in a commercial context

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels both within and external to the organisation

Highly numerate to analyze and communicate effectively

You will have demonstrable experience in developing successful heating and plumbing designs within residential homes

In-depth knowledge of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations, SAP, F-Gas Gas Safe

You will have a natural collaborative working style, nurturing both internal and external key relationships to drive high quality deliverables.
