We are recruiting on behalf of a popular and well established venue for an experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Sous Chef looking to work within a busy, professional kitchen serving high quality fresh food in a stunning coastal location. The client is particularly keen to speak with chefs who are looking for live-in accommodation, with comfortable accommodation available on site for just £85 per week making this a fantastic relocation opportunity.
The Role
- Support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen
- Help lead and motivate the brigade during busy services
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
- Assist with ordering, stock control and GP management
- Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation
- Contribute ideas for menus and specials
- Support training and development of junior chefs
