We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Sales & Marketing Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing, commercially minded hospitality professional who enjoys being front facing, building relationships and actively generating new business opportunities across the region.

Working closely with the General Manager and alongside two Event Coordinators, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving corporate, leisure, weddings and events business into the hotel. This is not a desk-based marketing role; the client is looking for somebody energetic, visible and proactive within the local market.

The Role

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships across Suffolk, East Anglia and Cambridgeshire
  • Meet and greet prospective clients and hotel guests
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, meetings and local functions
  • Support weddings, events and corporate business development
  • Work closely with the events team to maximise conversions and revenue
  • Develop local partnerships and strengthen community presence
  • Assist with sales strategy and promotional activity

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Sales & Marketing Manager or Senior Sales role within hospitality.
