Baxendale Mason is recruiting for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join an ambitious restaurant at an incredibly exciting stage of its development.
This is far more than a standard Senior Sous Chef position.
The business is embarking on a significant expansion which will include the opening of an exclusive 24-cover tasting-menu restaurant, with ambitions to achieve a Michelin Star , alongside the continued development of its existing restaurant and private dining offering.
The kitchen itself is also undergoing a substantial expansion, including the creation of an open kitchen , giving the brigade greater interaction with guests and the opportunity to talk confidently about the food they are producing.
We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef capable of becoming the Head Chef's genuine right hand .
You will support with the development and expansion of the food operation, lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and be confident across all aspects of kitchen management.
