Baxendale Mason is looking for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join an exciting restaurant operation as it enters a major period of growth. This is an opportunity for a talented chef who already has experience within high-level Rosette or Michelin kitchens and now wants to accelerate their development within a brigade with serious ambitions.

The business is preparing to open an exclusive 24-cover upstairs restaurant, serving a tasting menu and aiming for a Michelin Star. Alongside this will sit an accessible but extremely high-quality downstairs restaurant for approximately 40 covers, a new afternoon tea offering and private dining.

The kitchen itself is undergoing a significant expansion and will become an open kitchen, meaning chefs won't simply disappear behind the scenes. You should be proud of the food you're producing and confident talking to guests about it. Produce is at the heart of the project.

The business has access to its own nearby farm, growing vegetables and micro herbs alongside keeping chickens and beehives producing its own honey. The kitchen intends to work increasingly with whole carcasses, finding creative ways to utilise them.
