My client, an iconic 4-star beachfront hotel with spa requires a Head Pastry Chef to join their kitchen team. With views of the shimmering coastline, guests have the choice to dine in Art Deco glamour in their two AA-rosette restaurant, al fresco on the terrace, relaxed beachside dining or a meal delivered to their room. All menus are inspired by season and locality, created with passion and served with a smile.

As Head Pastry Chef you will have creative control in the pastry station of the kitchen, and will develop a flavoursome menu that will complement and enhance the experience of an afternoon tea, cream tea and dessert offerings.

The Head Pastry Chef role offers:

The ideal Head Pastry Chef candidate will:

  • Ensure all of the desserts are created and plated perfectly with attention to detail.
  • Assist the kitchen team in ensuring a smooth and efficient service, supporting the Head Chef and fellow Sous Chefs.
  • Ensure the adherence of food hygiene and preparation within your brigade.
  • Create a menu which represents ingredients that are fresh and locally sourced.
  • Have previous pastry experience in a similar environment with a good track record - at CDP level (as a minimum).
