I\’m supporting a charming boutique hotel as they look to appoint an ambitious, AGM to help elevate the property\’s profile and guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong AGM, FOH Manager, or Restaurant Manager.

About the Role

As Assistant live General Manager, you\’ll take ownership of the hotel\’s day-to-day performance, ensuring guests receive warm, personalised service while driving standards across all departments. You\’ll be the face of the hotel, leading from the front, motivating the team, and shaping a positive, collaborative culture.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being both operational and strategic. You\’ll have the autonomy to implement ideas, improve processes, and play a key role in enhancing the hotel\’s reputation locally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations across rooms, F&B and guest services
• Support and develop a small, dedicated team with hands‑on guidance
• Maintain high service standards and ensure a memorable guest experience
• Support the owners with commercial decisions and revenue initiatives
• Oversee stock control, rotas, compliance, training and cost management
• Drive community presence, local partnerships and brand identity
• Be a warm, visible leader across all areas of the hotel

About You

Currently an AGM, FOH Manager, Restaurant Manager or Duty Manager ready for the next step

Confident, approachable and strong in guest‑facing leadership

Able to balance operations with organisation and admin responsibilities

Passionate about independent hospitality and team development

Creative, proactive and excited to make a real impact

Experience in boutique, premium or character‑led properties is a bonus
