Refuge Warden in Cardiff

Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.

We are seeking to appoint for the following positions to join our dedicated RISE team:

Refuge Warden ( Female)

Location: Cardiff
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Hours: 12hrs shift Thursday 7pm-7am or Sunday-7am to 7pm

We do not offer sponsorship

Role restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1). Candidates must also have the right to work in the UK.

The worker will provide high-quality support and accommodation services to women and children who are victims of domestic and sexual abuse, while also carrying out accommodation health and safety duties and checks as required.
