Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage. We are seeking to appoint for the following position: Policy Manager.

Location: All Wales role but must be based in South Wales.

Contract length: up to and including 31st March 2031 subject to funding.

Role: Contribute to the organisation’s policy, campaigns and research work by developing and delivering influencing strategies that advance rights and protections for BME survivors of violence against women and girls (VAWG). The role focuses on shaping policy and decision‑making at national, regional and local levels, including work on immigration, asylum and no recourse to public funds (NRPF), in collaboration with partners and survivors.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering parliamentary and local authority influencing activity aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals and values.
