Meat Factory General Operatives required.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to ensure work area is clean, adhering to health and safety standard.
  • Measuring, weighing and counting product materials.
  • Moving or lifting heavy objects up to 30kg.
  • Loading, unloading or stacking products or materials.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Sorting manufacturing materials or products.
  • Recording product, packaging and order information on forms and record.
  • Packing, working on a production line.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work as part of a team, work under pressure and do any lifting if required.
  • Good level of English for health and safety purposes.
  • Be able to demonstrate knife skills and knowledge of boning/slaughter operations is desirable.
