TASKS The respective position is embedded within the Risk unit overseeing international and domestic risk including Corporates, Real Estate, Public and Institutional clients, Participations and Project financing. The international and domestic departments of the Bank source financings beside Austria primarily in Western Europe and US on a bilateral and syndicated basis including financing Loan portfolios. Beside Corporate financing, Commercial Real Estate has been a significant asset class for the Bank. Support of risk team in Providing a risk opinion on performance of deals on the book Analyzing new lending and investment proposals including credit quality, collateral and monitoring framework; prepare independent credit opinions on investment proposals for presentation to Credit Committee Monitoring the financial and operating risks for elements of the Bank’s portfolio of domestic and international financings with a focus on Corporate and Real Estate loans Assessment and update of internal ratings for counterparties and facilities on an ongoing basis Review and approve waivers to post signature events, such as contract breaches and restructurings, and on any credit-related changes to contracts in close consultation with other departments Contribute to the ongoing development of the Bank’s risk-related policies and procedures and the Risk division as a whole PROFILE University degree or equivalent preferably in business administration or commercial law Work experience in a financial Institution or advisory company preferred Interest in Western Europe, UK and US markets Knowledge of standard computer applications Proficiency in English and German essential – verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills Sound business judgement with an ability to understand the broader business issues whilst being cognisant of the individual risks involved A creative problem solver able to create and propose solutions to problematic issues Team player: an ability to work within a small group and Capacity to plan, organize and prioritize workflow OUR OFFER FlexOffice is our motto!
