We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager who will drive social operations for a leading global brand. You'll be a trusted client counsellor, coordinating activity and the VML social team to deliver truly social activation. You will become a "go-to" social guardian, helping the brand make the most of what social and VML has to offer.

Key Responsibilities- Client Leadership: Work with the account lead to steer clients through every aspect of social activation, building a collaborative and high-trust relationship that can result in the best possible outcomes.
- Collaboration: Foster strong collaborative relationships within the social team and wider VML team, working closely with strategy & planning, data & insights, client engagement, and creative.
- Content Coordination: Manage the pipeline of social content across multiple sources (including UGC and influencers), matching client needs with a strategic approach, to coordinate content creation and curation ahead of publishing.
- Presentation Skills: Present to senior clients and internal teams in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner, including new proposals, status updates, and performance reporting.
- Social Best Practice: Use a truly native and broad understanding of everything social to guide and inspire clients and internal teams.
- Brand Guardianship: Understand and embody the needs of the brand, matched with social, and how the different aspects of the brand need to show up.
- Be a highly collaborative team player, capable of building strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Be incredibly organised and able to reduce complexity, bringing it into an organised focus.
- Have a proactive attitude with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
