Due to continued growth, we\’re expanding our sales team and are looking for a Sales Manager to cover Greater London (Inside the M25).

This is a key leadership role where you will:

  • Build and lead a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to grow market share within the territory.

  • Win, maintain, and grow both new and existing customer accounts.

  • Collaborate with strategic accounts to maximise coverage of site opportunities.

  • Deliver outstanding account management and customer service to enhance brand loyalty.

  • Work closely with Tele Sales and Marketing to implement and execute the sales strategy.

  • Drive daily activity to meet lead generation, revenue, and margin goals.

Key Responsibilities

New Business & Revenue Growth

  • Support the BDE team in client meetings and explore customer needs.

  • Present relevant products/services aligned to customer requirements.

  • Manage lead generation and pipeline activity across the team.

  • Identify and pursue all viable commercial opportunities.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage, support, and develop a team of three BDEs with clear KPIs and objectives.

  • Provide field coaching, performance reviews, and day-to-day mentoring.

  • Foster a results-driven culture focused on business acquisition and client retention.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Design and deliver sales strategies in line with company growth targets.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to refine plans.

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Ensure CRM data is updated and accurate to improve forecasting and reporting.

  • Support the Head of Sales with weekly pipeline updates and opportunity tracking.

  • Create and present sales packs for monthly and quarterly reviews.

  • Assist senior management with sales data and insights as required.

Customer Focus

  • Provide support on incoming sales calls, customer queries, or technical issues as needed.

  • Refer leads to other regional teams where appropriate to support overall business growth

About You

Essential:

  • Proven success in a Sales Manager or Senior Business Development role (B2B services, hire, facilities, or construction preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team and drive consistent new business growth.

  • Strong field sales and client engagement experience, including presentations and negotiations.

  • Skilled in sales pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Effective communicator with strong leadership and coaching skills.

  • Commercially astute with excellent organisational and analytical abilities.

  • Driven, results-focused, and solutions-oriented.

Desirable:

  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and performance dashboards.

  • Industry network or experience in construction, infrastructure, property services, or energy sectors.
