European Sector Lead, Strategic Sales you will be responsible for building Bau Watch’s strategic position in the Property & Logistics sector.
In this strategic sales role you act as the sector specialist, opportunity creator and strategic relationship builder, working with country teams to open doors, shape customer propositions, accelerate pipeline and win multi-country or high-value accounts.
Country teams will remain responsible for local customer relationships, pricing decisions, operational delivery and revenue conversion in their markets.
You will support them by opening senior relationships, creating sector insight, coordinating cross-border activity, and bringing a Group-level view to major accounts and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sector Strategy and Market Mapping
- Develop and own the European strategic sales plan for the sector.
- Identify the largest and most attractive customers, prospects, influencers, partners and buying centres within the sector, including country-level entities, group headquarters, project teams, procurement functions and executive stakeholders.
- Build a clear sector map covering customer groups, market structure, decision makers, buying processes, current security arrangements, competitors, commercial potential and priority markets.
- Translate sector insight into actionable target‑account plans for Bau Watch’s 11-country footprint.
- Identify where Bau Watch has the strongest right to win, where sector demand is growing, and where local sales teams need additional strategic support.
- Strategic Account Targeting and Development
- Create and manage a prioritized list of strategic target accounts within the sector.
- Develop structured account penetration plans covering decision makers, influencers, procurement routes, current suppliers, contract cycles, live opportunities, project pipelines, risk factors and potential revenue.
- Build multi‑level relationships across each target account, including headquarters, country leadership, procurement, operations, project delivery, security, facilities, risk, asset management and C‑suite stakeholders.
- Position Bau Watch as a strategic partner rather than a transactional supplier of temporary security equipment.
- Create account plans that country sales teams can execute locally, while maintaining senior-level continuity at Group level.
- Executive Engagement and Value Proposition
- Engage senior decision makers with a clear Bau Watch value proposition tailored to the sector.
- Translate customer business issues into Bau Watch solutions, including site protection, theft and vandalism prevention, project continuity, asset protection, insurance support, operational visibility, risk reduction, rapid deployment and 24/7 monitoring.
- Lead strategic customer conversations around multi‑site security standards, preferred supplier models, framework agreements, project pipelines and cross‑border consistency.
- Work with Marketing, Product, Operations and country sales teams to develop sector‑specific messaging, case studies, proposals, commercial models and customer presentations.
- Represent Bau Watch credibly with senior executives, procurement teams, operations leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Opportunity Creation and Pipeline Growth
- Generate new business opportunities within named strategic accounts and priority sector prospects.
- Identify live projects, upcoming developments, framework tenders, procurement events and contract renewal opportunities.
- Work with local country sales teams to qualify opportunities, agree ownership, support customer engagement and convert pipeline into revenue.
- Support complex bids, RFPs, framework opportunities and multi‑country proposals where Group-level coordination improves Bau Watch’s chance of success.
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, ensuring target accounts, opportunities, stakeholders, next steps, risks and forecast values are captured accurately.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, conversion, customer engagement, country collaboration, wins, losses and market intelligence.
- Matrix Leadership Across 11 Countries
- Act as the Group-level sector specialist and internal connector across Bau Watch’s country businesses.
- Work closely with country Managing Directors, Sales Directors, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Operations, Product and Service teams to align sector activity.
- Influence without direct authority, ensuring local teams understand the sector opportunity and have the tools, insight and relationships needed to win.
- Coordinate cross‑country customer engagement where customers operate in multiple markets.
- Help countries avoid fragmented engagement with the same strategic customer by creating a more joined‑up Bau Watch approach.
- Share best practice, competitor insight, successful propositions and lessons learned across countries.
- Sector Presence and Market Influence
- Build Bau Watch’s profile within the chosen sector.
- Attend relevant sector events, exhibitions, conferences, customer forums and networking opportunities.
- Develop relationships with sector influencers such as consultants, contractors, developers, asset managers, property managers, facilities management providers, EPCs, insurers, security consultants and trade associations.
- Feed market trends, customer needs and competitor intelligence back into Bau Watch’s commercial, marketing and product strategies.
- Help Bau Watch become recognised as a trusted sector expert, not only a supplier.
You bring
- Significant B2B strategic sales, business development or key account experience, ideally in security, construction, infrastructure, data centres, property, facilities management, building services, technology, rental, equipment, Saa S-enabled services or another project‑led B2B environment.
