About the Role
You will be working as part of our fast-growing BW UK Operations and Fulfilment team, playing a key role in ensuring our products are delivered to customer sites safely, on time, and ready for operation. Delivering an exceptional customer experience is central to this role, with every interaction and activity focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicles using a forklift and lorry‑mounted crane (HIAB) in accordance with safe working procedures.
- Operate the company HGV Class 2 delivery vehicle on a national basis, completing deliveries and collections across the UK, including overnight stays where operationally required.
- Deliver and collect temporary security towers and associated equipment to and from customer sites.
- Install, position and set up security towers on customer sites in line with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct basic maintenance, inspections and fault identification on tower and scout units, escalating issues where necessary (training will be provided).
- Liaise on‑site with Video Experts (VE), the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and other internal departments to ensure equipment is operational and functioning as required.
- Maintain professional interaction with customers and site representatives, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, planning and engineering teams to support service delivery.
- When not engaged in driving or installation duties, provide operational support to local hubs and operational teams, including asset preparation, stock management and equipment readiness.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Minimum two years’ HGV driving experience with no major driving infringements.
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- No more than three penalty points on driving licence.
- Previous experience in multi‑drop delivery operations, ideally within construction or infrastructure environments.
- CSCS Card or willingness to obtain.
- Experience operating lorry‑mounted crane / HIAB vehicles.
- HIAB certification.
- Forklift licence desirable (training may be provided if required).
- Basic IT literacy with the ability to use MS Office and operational systems for reporting, documentation and communication.
