Job Description

The Sector Expert – Data Centres, UK will be responsible for growing Bau Watch’s position within the data centre sector in the UK.

The role will focus on identifying, targeting and winning security opportunities with end users, operators, asset owners, contractors, developers, facilities managers and other relevant businesses operating in the sector.

The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong pipeline, meet agreed sales targets and convert opportunities into profitable revenue for the country business.

This is a hands‑on sales role with a clear commercial target.

The role requires regular customer meetings, proactive prospecting, structured account development and close collaboration with the country sales team, operations team and the European Sector Lead.

This Sector Expert will act as the local sector specialist for Data Centres within the UK, bringing sector knowledge, customer insight and commercial focus to help Bau Watch win more opportunities in this market.

  • Proven B2B sales, business development or key account experience, ideally in security, construction, infrastructure, energy, logistics, property,
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling to end users, projectled customers, multi-site organisations or complex buying groups.
  • Proven ability to identify prospects, open new relationships and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and working to forecasted targets.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment would be beneficial.
  • Typically 5+ years’ relevant B2B sales or business development experience.
