Join BauWatch UK’s fast‑growing operations and fulfilment team in Laindon. In this role you will ensure that our towers arrive at customer sites on time and in perfect condition, providing a superior customer experience and enabling seamless product launch.
About the role
As Tower Placement Driver you will load the truck, deliver towers to customers and use the truck‑mounted crane to position and set up the tower on site. You will also liaise with the Service and ARC teams to bring the tower online, promote additional products and services, and drive revenue generation.
Key Tasks
- Loading of truck with towers using forklift and truck‑mounted crane.
- Driving the BauWatch delivery truck on a national basis.
- Delivering towers to UK customers.
- Positioning towers at site using truck‑mounted crane unit.
- Setting up towers at the customer site.
- On‑site liaison with the Service and ARC team to ensure the mast is operational.
- Liaising between ARC, customers and field service teams.
- Ensuring customers receive consistently high standards of customer service.
- Supporting regional operations hub activities when not performing core functions.
About you
- Qualified driver with a full UK driving licence.
- HGV Class 2 licence with minimum of 2 years driving and no major infringements.
- Experience with construction sites and multi‑drop delivery driving.
- Ideally holds a CSCS card.
- Able to drive a rigid with Lorry‑Mounted Crane/HIAB vehicle.
- HIAB certification.
- Forklift licence desirable; training can be provided.
- CPC and Digi Card.
- Proficient with technology – general ability to use MS Office and related programmes.
- Quality‑oriented, constantly striving for improvement and convincing others of the importance of quality.
