The Territory Manager within the Solta Medical business unit is responsible for driving capital and consumable sales within an assigned territory in UK North (Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds including Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and West Yorkshire). Preferred location is Greater Manchester. The business reserves the right to adjust territories as required, with prior notice provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing effective territory penetration to drive sales and revenue growth among the existing and newly installed customer base for the Solta family of products.
  • Develop and execute a strategic new business development plan, incorporating targeted cold calling, proactive prospecting, and tailored introduction strategies to grow awareness of SOLTA devices across multiple channels and increase the install base within the territory.
  • Perform a minimum of 10 cold calls per week.
  • Revenue responsibility for the appropriate territory.
  • Organizing and conducting sales meetings and regular customer visits.
  • Advise customers on the application capabilities of Solta products.
  • Supporting and helping to facilitate the execution of regional training workshops and tradeshows within the territory and area.
  • Coordinate high attendance user meetings and intro workshops.
  • Executing launch installation action plans for existing accounts.
  • Pre-planning sales calls and maintaining efficient time management skills to ensure maximum customer contact and highest level of customer service.
  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date account files.
  • Completing administrative responsibilities including quarterly business plans, up-to-date account profiles, monthly expense reports and updating Solta customer database.
  • Maintain accurate weekly forecasting.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of the industry and competitive products.
  • Developing and maintaining supportive productive and effective relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines as an integral part of business operations.
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding the territory with all team members including customers, marketing, and clinical co‑workers.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and represent Solta with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
  • Support company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures, Good Clinical Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA regulations.
  • Conduct Solta activities and tools to increase utilization of consumables for growth.
  • Generate cross‑sell leads to existing customers.
  • Develop business evaluations & reviews for existing accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven success selling consumables and preference for experience with capital equipment.
  • 3‑6 years of demonstrated success selling medical/aesthetics products or services to physicians and other health care professionals, with preference for direct customer experience with the dermatologist audience.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physician management and/or large groups.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand and communicate the attributes and qualities of Solta products using professional selling and closing skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.
  • Willingness to travel adequately to cover the territory, including overnight stays, trading shows and corporate and training meetings; must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Physical requirements: may be required to lift up to 30 kg for short durations; duties may involve standing and/or walking for extended periods; duties also involve daily keyboard data entry. Specific vision abilities required: close vision.
