The Professional Affairs Manager (EMEA) is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive professional as well as internal commercial education strategy across the EMEA region, supporting Solta Medical's portfolio of skin tightening and skin resurfacing technologies. The role serves as a critical bridge between clinical expertise, commercial objectives, and customer success by ensuring healthcare professionals receive high-quality training, scientific education, and ongoing clinical support. This individual will lead the development of educational programs for new customers, experienced users, key opinion leaders (KOLs), distributors, and internal commercial teams, helping drive clinical excellence, customer satisfaction, adoption, utilization, and long-term business growth.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Professional Education Strategy
- Develop and implement the EMEA professional education strategy aligned with regional commercial objectives.
- Design scalable educational pathways for new customer onboarding, advanced user development, and expert-level clinical mastery.
- Collaborate with Global Professional Affairs to adapt global educational content to local market needs.
- Customer Training & Clinical Education
- Create and manage comprehensive training programs for physicians, nurses, and aesthetic practitioners utilizing Solta Medical technologies.
- Organize and oversee workshops, peer to peer, webinars, and regional training events.
- Develop advanced education programs to increase utilization and clinical outcomes among existing customers.
- Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Development and Management
- Identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with leading aesthetic physicians across EMEA.
- Support KOL participation in congresses, cross border activities, educational events, advisory boards, and training activities.
- Collaborate with KOLs to generate educational content, case studies, and best-practice recommendations.
- Internal Education & Capability Development
- Develop and deliver clinical education programs for sales, marketing, customer success, and distributor teams.
- Ensure internal stakeholders maintain a strong understanding of device technology, clinical evidence, treatment protocols, and competitive positioning.
- Conduct regular field coaching and educational support for commercial teams.
- Scientific & Clinical Support
- Support dissemination of clinical evidence and best practices throughout the organization and customer base.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Marketing to ensure educational materials remain scientifically accurate and compliant.
- Monitor emerging clinical trends, technologies, and competitive developments within aesthetic medicine.
- Congresses & Educational Events
- Lead the educational strategy for major regional and international congresses.
- Coordinate faculty participation, workshops, symposia, and training activities.
- Represent Solta Medical at industry events and professional meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Frequent travel throughout EMEA (approximately 40–60%).
The minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MD, PhD, MSc, MBA, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, or related field).
- 7+ years of experience in medical devices, aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or related healthcare sectors.
- Experience developing and managing professional education programs across multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of energy-based aesthetic technologies, skin tightening, skin resurfacing, and aesthetic treatment workflows.
