Bauhaus Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers for an installation project in Cambridge. The role will involve installing, terminating and dressing Cat6a cabling to a high standard. Engineers must be confident producing neat, well-organised cable looms and delivering a professional finish throughout the installation.
The Role
- Installing Cat6a data cabling
- Cable pulling, routing and containment work
- Terminating Cat6a outlets and patch panels
- Looming and dressing cables neatly
- Labelling and testing completed installations
- Working from drawings and installation schedules
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Data Cabling Engineer
- Strong Cat6a installation and termination experience
- Excellent cable looming and dressing skills
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
- Valid IPAF licence
- Own tools and PPE
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A reliable and professional approach to work
