Data Centre Cabling Engineer
required for a long-term project based in Newport.
We are seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers with previous data centre, critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial installation experience. The role will involve the installation, termination and testing of structured cabling systems within a live and fast-paced environment.
Duties: Installation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling Fibre optic installation, termination and testing Installing containment including basket, tray and trunking Labelling and documenting cabling infrastructure Testing and fault-finding copper and fibre cabling Working from drawings and site plans Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Requirements: ECS/CSCS Card Proven structured cabling experience Previous data centre or critical environment experience preferred Fibre termination and testing experience advantageous IPAF beneficial but not essential
