Bauhaus Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Data Cabling Engineers for a number of projects across London. We have opportunities available on a variety of sites including:

  • Commercial office fit-outs
  • Data centres
  • Corporate headquarters
  • Retail environments
  • Healthcare facilities
  • Educational buildings
  • New build and refurbishment projects

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a structured cabling
  • Fibre optic installation, termination and testing
  • Installation of containment including basket, tray, trunking and conduit
  • Cabinet building and patching
  • Testing and fault finding using Fluke test equipment
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and site plans
  • Completing installation and test documentation

Requirements:

  • Previous structured cabling experience
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Fibre experience advantageous
  • IPAF beneficial but not essential
