Bauhaus Recruitment is looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer based in or around Portsmouth for an ongoing contract. You will travel to different customer sites across the country. A company van and fuel card will be provided, so applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling and staying away when required.
Duties will include:
- Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
- Cable pulling, dressing and containment
- Terminating data outlets and patch panels
- Testing, labelling and fault-finding
- Cabinet installations and tidy presentation
- Working professionally on live customer sites
- Supporting with general project duties
Requirements:
- Previous data cabling experience
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS or ECS card preferred
- Own hand tools and basic PPE
- Reliable, presentable and comfortable working with customers
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Flexibility to stay away from home when required
