Bauhaus Recruitment is expanding its network of experienced Data Cabling Engineers, subcontractors and installation teams across the Midlands due to an increasing number of upcoming projects.

Opportunities are available throughout Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas. Projects range from short-term assignments to longer-term contracts across:

  • Commercial offices
  • Retail stores and supermarkets
  • Stadiums and leisure facilities
  • Data centres and comms rooms
  • New-build and refurbishment projects

Typical work includes installing, terminating and testing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling, containment, cabinet installation and dressing, Wi-Fi access points, labelling and general structured cabling duties.

We would like to hear from engineers who ideally have:

  • Proven data cabling experience
  • A valid CSCS or ECS card
  • Their own tools and transport
  • A reliable and professional approach
  • Additional experience in fibre, testing or IPAF would be beneficial
