We are looking for a Senior Video Producer to join our team in London.

The Role

Reporting into our Head of Video, the Senior Video Producer will lead the production of video content for Bauer’s Youth and Entertainment brands, including Hits Radio and KISS. You’ll be working across industry-leading productions with audiences of millions, ensuring the end-to-end completion of video for multiple projects at a time. You will be comfortable working with and directing celebrity talent, managing a full team of creatives and leading large-scale set builds and shoots.

Working closely with our brand Senior Video Producers and Social Media Leads, you’ll be an expert in producing engaging video that pops on socials and grows reach. You’ll have great technical knowledge, leading capture of both audio and video to the highest standard. You’ll be an experienced leader on set, staying calm under pressure and maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere. You’ll have great attention to detail and commitment to excellence. You have a genuine passion for pop culture, entertainment content, music and social media. You are highly familiar with YouTube, and confident in leading longform video strategy for the platform.

This is a hands-on, creative role with an emphasis on leading video production. You will be expected to both film and edit longform and short form content, as well as manage a team through each stage of the production process.

This is a hybrid role – you will be expected to work on location, at home and from our London office. A flexible approach to working hours should be expected. You may be required to film outside normal working hours and on those days you would start later or finish earlier.

Responsibilities

  • Filming video content for Hits Radio and KISS
  • Managing the build and derig of sets of all sizes, in a variety of locations
  • Overseeing technical capture of both audio and visuals
  • Directing and managing a crew of internal staff and additional freelancers
  • Directing talent
  • Editing video content – both full long-form episodes and short-form social clips
  • Reviewing video content and directing the team to implement changes
  • Managing end to end delivery of social video
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Managing and executing YouTube strategy
  • Working with the wider team to design and create a new video formats, from the physical set to the graphics package and overall visual identity
  • Developing creative video ideas to take our content to the next level

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of solid social video production experience
  • Expert knowledge of camera, lighting and audio equipment
  • Experienced self-shooter and director, used to working with celebrity talent
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe suite, including Photoshop and Audition. Proficiency in Premiere Pro is essential.
  • Social video expert – excellent understanding of entertainment content, the social media landscape and how our brands fit into this
  • Calm, positive and patient team leader
  • Proactive, committed, quick thinking and able to work calmly under pressure
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to high quality output
  • Experienced manager of pre-production and post-production schedules
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of YouTube and YouTube analytics
  • Good knowledge of media law and Ofcom compliance
  • Good awareness of Health and Safety requirements on shoots
