Our Team: How we enrich everyday life
You will be joining Bauer Media’s Social Video Hub - a collaborative, creative group who live and breathe digital storytelling - on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will focus on social media across Bauer Media’s Podcast slate working closely with Podcast Producers, Executive Producers, talent and the wider marketing network. The team plays a key role in growing audiences and building cultural relevance for Bauer’s rapidly expanding podcast slate. You’ll be surrounded by supportive, inclusive people who enjoy pushing boundaries, sharing ideas and having fun while doing great work.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our podcasts show up across social platforms. From planning and capturing standout moments to leading social campaigns end‑to‑end, your work will help drive discovery, engagement and growth across our podcast portfolio. This is a hands‑on senior role where your creative vision, editorial instinct and production skills will bring content to life and help our shows cut through in a competitive social landscape.
Your role
- Plan, create and deliver high‑quality, social‑first content for Bauer’s podcasts across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Planning and producing social content across Bauer’s podcast portfolio.
- Shooting and editing social clips on podcast shoots, content days and live events.
- Owning content calendars and ensuring timely, consistent publishing.
- Leading social campaigns from concept through to delivery.
- Working closely with Podcast Producers, Executive Producers and talent through approval processes.
- Monitoring trends and performance to inform content decisions.
- Quality checking content and supporting junior team members.
- Deputising for the Social Media Lead when required.
The skills you will bring
- Proven experience producing social‑first content, ideally within podcasts, entertainment or media.
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and how to optimise content for each platform.
- Confidence shooting content on mobile and directing presenters or guests.
- Hands‑on editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, with a strong sense of pacing and storytelling.
- Ability to design eye‑catching thumbnails or graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
- Excellent editorial judgement and confident social copywriting skills.
- Strong organisational and project‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence presenting ideas.
Working pattern / location
This is a hybrid role, based out of our Central London office. The role may occasionally require working outside of standard hours to support live events or launches.
