Producer – Content (Consumer Competitions)

The Team
- You’ll be joining our Consumer Competitions content team – a small but mighty group at the heart of Bauer’s award-winning radio competitions. We create and deliver some of UK radio’s biggest winning moments on Make Me A Winner, and produce content to support and elevate our online competition platform Win Happy.
- The team is collaborative, experienced and passionate about delivering stand-out audience experiences. Between us, we bring decades of radio and content expertise – now we’re excited to grow by welcoming a new Producer into the mix.
The Difference you will make
- As our new Producer – Content, you’ll be hands-on in shaping the future of Bauer’s consumer competitions. You’ll produce engaging, compliant and creative content across radio, social and digital, ensuring our competitions run seamlessly while keeping audiences entertained and talent supported.
- This role is an expansion to the team, supporting our transformation strategy, and giving you the chance to make a genuine impact from day one. Your work will help drive both audience engagement and commercial growth, while contributing to Bauer’s reputation for unforgettable content moments.
Your role
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Producing compelling content for Bauer’s flagship competitions across radio, social and digital.
- Writing scripts, presenter briefs and preparing live on-air content.
- Acting as adjudicator on live competitions, ensuring full compliance with Ofcom regulations.
- Operating confidently in studio environments (desk, play-out and audio editing).
- Collaborating with presenters, producers, content directors and other internal stakeholders to deliver first-class audience experiences.
- Supporting campaign planning, scheduling and delivery.
- Bringing fresh ideas and creative flair to help us continuously raise the bar.
The skills you will bring
Essential:
- Extensive experience in live radio or audio content production.
- Strong understanding of the radio industry, from studio operation to audience engagement.
- Hands-on technical skills – Adobe Audition (or similar), playout systems (ideally Zetta), and studio desk operation.
- Knowledge of Ofcom’s Broadcasting Code and experience with competition compliance.
- Confident communication and influencing skills – able to hold your own with presenters, producers and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to work some evenings/weekends and travel when required.
Desirable:
- Experience in podcast or visual production.
- Background across multiple content platforms.
Working Pattern/Location
- London based, hybrid working. Occasional evenings, weekends and travel are part of the role (expenses covered).
