The Main Focus of the Role:
As Assistant Producer, you\’ll be working across a range of shows and dayparts, helping to shape and deliver compelling radio and digital content. You’ll be a creative force behind the scenes, supporting both live and pre-recorded programming.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering live studio production support
  • Managing and communicating with presenters and guests
  • Producing, editing and publishing radio and podcast content
  • Generating ideas and creating content for both broadcast and social platforms
  • Supporting commercial campaigns, competitions, and promotions
  • Collaborating with programming, music, social, video and digital teams to enhance audience engagement
  • Assisting with event production and outside broadcasts
  • Creating and scheduling audio using tools like Zetta and Selector

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a fast-paced radio environment
  • Excellent audio editing and production skills
  • Awareness of Ofcom regulations
  • Organised and detail-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and respond to live situations
  • Familiarity with broadcast and scheduling systems (Zetta, Selector preferred)
  • Strong understanding of content that resonates with a 35+ year old audience
  • Flexibility in working hours, including some weekends or evenings when needed
