About The Role

You will design, develop, and implement scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and industry best practices. The Salesforce Technical Architect will work closely with fellow Architects from other areas, enabling a holistic approach to our solutions. Where a problem is better solved outside of Salesforce, this architect is expected to say so and propose the right tool – this includes leveraging opportunities that AI related solutions present. They will also work closely with stakeholders, developers, administrators, and product managers to deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions that support business growth and innovation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the end-to-end design of scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business goals.
  • Translate complex requirements into best-practice solutions while continuously evaluating the broader tech stack.
  • Enforce design, build, and security standards across the development team to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Oversee the development, integration, and deployment of Salesforce applications from planning to delivery.
  • Evaluate tool suitability, recommending complementary or alternative technologies (like ETL tools, databases, and AI solutions) where they offer better outcomes.
  • Partner with other architects to design robust integrations between Salesforce and external systems like ERPs and data warehouses.
  • Define data models, migration strategies, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and clearly explain architectural options to non-technical audiences.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and familiarity with DocuSign and Own by Salesforce advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Technical Architecture, security model, governor limits, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools). Hands-on experience with data migration tooling outside of Salesforce native tools, such as Python or dbt for transformation, AWS Glue or DMS for pipeline orchestration, and familiarity with event-driven architectures using tools such as Kafka.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset).
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, master data management, and enterprise integration patterns.

What’s In It For You:

  • 25 paid holidays including bank holidays
  • Company Pension Scheme paid up to 8%
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Life Insurance and group income protection scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
