About the Role....

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the mobilisation of a large‑scale contract over a 6‑month period.

This is a pivotal role, responsible for owning and driving the mobilisation project plan to get us ready for a potential 1st January 2027 go‑live date.

You will coordinate multiple cross‑functional workstreams – including Partnerships, Construction, Delivery, Product Development, Sales, Tech, Finance and People – ensuring timelines, dependencies, risks and stakeholders remain fully aligned throughout the mobilisation phase.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a qualified project manager who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments, enjoys working across diverse teams, and is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the mobilisation project plan
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams
  • Manage timelines, dependencies and scope
  • Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) management
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Governance and reporting
  • Readiness for go‑live

Who are you?

  • Collaborative and confident, able to bring structure and clarity to complex situations.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused and comfortable making recommendations and driving decisions.
  • Resilient under pressure, with the ability to remain calm and focused around critical deadlines.
  • Strong sense of ownership, with a clear commitment to delivery – including a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on when needed.

Skills and experience

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager delivering complex, multi‑workstream projects or programmes.
  • Proven track record of mobilising large‑scale contracts or operational programmes in a commercial environment.
  • Strong experience of RAID management, project planning and dependency mapping.
  • Demonstrable ability to coordinate and influence cross‑functional teams (e. g. Partnerships, Construction, Delivery, Sales, Tech, Finance, People).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership reporting.
  • Highly organised, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of recognised project management methodologies and best practice.

What’s in it for you?

  • A salary of £55,000k plus bonus
  • Flexible hybrid working
  • 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays
  • 2 paid volunteering days each year to support a charity or because that matters to you
  • Company Pension Scheme matched at 5% or 8%
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Life Insurance and group income protection scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Travel/Season ticket loans and a whole host of discounts across 100s of retailers
