About the role… As the Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll be a key connector between almost all of our inter-team departments, as well as the wider commercial business. You’ll get the opportunity to work with sales, trading, agency account management, creative, HR and tech. It’s important you’ve got great communications skills, with the ability to take a brief and own it with support from the team around you.

What you’ll be doing… This is an exciting and varied role; one week you’ll be mocking up posters for our various screens to support our commercial teams, the next you could be designing an interactive digital experience. We want to stand out from our competitors and everything you design will support us to do that, you’ll work on social media content, designing sales and marketing presentations, email templates, idea generation for marketing campaigns and more. This is a role you can really grow into. You’ll also:

  • Liaise with Design and the wider Marketing team to develop supporting content into sales stories;
  • Be a guardian of our brand, keeping us fresh and relevant;
  • Support the wider Design Team using relevant Adobe software.

Who are you? Above all you’ll be creatively driven, with a can-do attitude and be able to bring new ideas to the table, fuelled by your love of all things design. You may have a degree, A-level or equivalent course in Graphic/Communication Design or some industry work experience under your belt. You’ll be a stickler for the detail, confident in both verbal and written communication and take pride in delivering fantastic work, as well as:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (After Effects and Premiere Pro are a bonus)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience using the Ceros platform (desirable but not essential)
  • Up to date with current design trends and best practice
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a real eye for detail
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Able to balance workload effectively and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, changing business
  • A portfolio of at least 4 examples showcasing your own work
  • Confident using Apple Mac systems
