About the role
We are now looking for an ERP Administrator to work for our Bauer Media Outdoor Technic team.
BMOT is our manufacturing line of business based in Bolton, dedicated to the design and production of our digital advertising screens.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for assisting the ERP Implementation and Development Manager in all aspects of an ongoing Phase 2 of Epicor Kinetic implementation with a long-term view of assisting with system administration maintenance and support.
The ERP Administrator will also actively participate in the planning and execution of system changes to improve system capability and overall user experience.
What will I be doing?
- Supporting our Epicor system by creating and reviewing work instructions, process maps and documentation to help teams work effectively and consistently.
- Working with data by cleaning, transforming and validating information to ensure it is accurate, reliable and ready for use within Epicor and across the business.
- Helping improve our working environments by supporting changes to stores and production areas, including system configuration and physical changes such as bin relabelling.
- Supporting Epicor projects by helping to plan tasks, track progress and contribute to the successful delivery of implementation projects, system enhancements and future phases.
- Testing and improving the system by carrying out testing, identifying issues, helping to troubleshoot problems and supporting the implementation of solutions.
- Supporting and working with our users by providing day-to-day assistance, answering questions, helping resolve issues and supporting training, onboarding and refresher sessions.
- Working with teams across the business to understand their requirements, support process improvements and help ensure Epicor continues to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Developing your Epicor skills by gaining experience with BAQs, BPMs, Functions, Application Studio, report generation and Grow BI dashboards.
Don't worry if you don't have experience in these areas — full training and ongoing support will be provided as you develop your skillset.
- What we’re looking for
- BSc or higher in MIS, Computer Science, IT or Business preferred.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different departments.
- 1–2 years’ experience working with Epicor Kinetic; other ERP experience considered.
- Experience with Grow BI or equivalent BI tools such as Power BI.
- Excel proficiency of using lookups
- Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and automation desirable.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and interpreting data accurately.
