We are seeking a proactive Operations Manager to lead the team at our Birmingham Depot. Our teams cover the posting, cleaning, and maintenance of advertising units across their respective areas, as well as some construction activities. To take on this exciting opportunity we offer a highly competitive salary of up to £56,000 per annum, flexible working hours around the commitments of the role and a whole host of company benefits

What You\’ll Be Doing

As the Operations Manager you\’ll have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the depot and will be required to ensure performance and compliance requirements are delivered. This includes leading the teams and coordinating all operational activities across the region. Your role is to set and maintain the company\’s standards, to be forward thinking and look at opportunities for improvement both within our branches and across the wider Delivery Department.

Day To Day Responsibilities Include

  • Ensuring that all operational work within the branches is issued and completed on time and to the strict service level agreements as outlined in our various contractual agreements
  • Building, maintaining and strengthening client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring all operations activities to ensure productivity targets are achieved with a proactive approach to compliance and efficiency, including Construction activities
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure that the objectives of quality and consistency of work completed is achieved
  • Leading a culture of safety across the team ensuring that steps are proactively taken to ensure compliance with the company\’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Managing operating costs and expenditure as part of the Branch budget, working with the Head of Delivery
  • Managing recruitment of new team members and supporting the Team Leaders with induction and training
  • Leading the team, including target setting, regular one-to-ones, performance and development reviews and general management of individual team members.
  • Motivating and ensuring the team remain client focused and flexible in accommodating new client and product needs
