About The Role
The BMO Commercial Legal Team supports both the UK and International markets across Europe, coordinating a broad range of legal, commercial, and operational activities. As a Corporate & Commercial Paralegal, you will support the team across commercial, corporate, finance, intellectual property, disputes, and governance matters, with occasional support to the Compliance Legal Team where required. This is a varied and fast-paced role offering exposure to complex cross-border work within a dynamic media business. We are also open to offering this role on a fixed term contract basis for candidates who may be due to commence a training contract.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Commercial Legal Support
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements (NDAs, supply, tech, licensing, and framework agreements)
- Supporting contracts across concessions, tenders, media sales, and renewals
- Assisting with negotiations and legal risk review
- Reviewing and proofreading legal documentation
- Corporate & Governance Support
- Supporting intercompany transactions (funding, dividends, capital injections)
- Assisting with group restructuring and cross-border coordination
- Preparing board minutes, resolutions, and corporate filings
- Maintaining statutory records and corporate databases
- Supporting KYC/UBO and company secretarial processes
- Legal Operations
- Supporting invoice processing and legal spend tracking
- Assisting with legal research and internal guidance
- Supporting IP administration and supplier onboarding
Who are you?
We're looking for someone who has:
- A law degree and/or legal qualification (LPC, PGDL, LLM or equivalent)
- At least some prior commercial legal experience (in-house or private practice)
- Familiarity with basic corporate legal documents, such as board resolutions
- Experience reviewing, drafting, or working with legal documents in a professional setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and spoken English
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience working in a multinational or multi-jurisdictional environment
- Exposure to corporate governance, company secretarial work, or contract lifecycle management
- Experience in media, advertising, or Out of Home (OOH) sectors
