  • Solid knowledge of UK commercial property law (including leases, licences, rent reviews, landlord and tenant issues, property acquisitions and disposals).
  • Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial property and general commercial documentation.
  • Comfortable moving between specialist property work and broader commercial matters, with strong drafting and negotiation skills throughout.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to understand business drivers and translate them into pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice.
  • A confident, clear communicator who can explain legal concepts in plain English and build trusted relationships with non-legal stakeholders.
  • Self-sufficient and well organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and elevate where needed.
