About The Role
We are now looking for a Helpdesk Operator to join our Support team at Bauer Media Outdoor Technic team based in Bolton.
BMOT is our manufacturing line of business, dedicated to the design and production of our digital advertising screens.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for providing 1st line and telephone support for our customers across the UK and Europe to problem diagnosis, fault logging and bug reporting.
Working as part of a team, you will help achieve daily and weekly targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
What will I be doing?
- General Support for Remote Device Monitoring systems
- Investigating sign issues flagged up by our monitoring systems
- Liaising with on‑site maintenance engineers to resolve issues
- Requesting Maintenance visits from relevant maintenance contractors
- Issuing RMA numbers and RMA paperwork for faulty signs / parts
- General digital signage support phone calls (incoming & outgoing)
- Co‑ordinating Annual Maintenance Visits to all signs
- Producing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports of support activity
- Bug reporting - notifying manager of any bugs on the systems or signs
