You will be working with the Local Sales team to sell across Bauer's Out of Home advertising portfolio, reporting to the Local Sales Manager.

As an Account Manager your primary objective will be to proactively and strategically generate new business and manage a portfolio of existing accounts. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by nurturing long-term relationships and securing new clients.
- Proactively prospecting in the field to identify, engage and qualify new advertisers
- Build a strong pipeline through face to face meetings, cold calling and Teams communication
- Creating and delivering commercial output that drives take up from advertisers
- Identify customers and category segments via out market and competitive data
- Confidently pitching Out of Home and the Bauer Media Outdoor portfolio and product capabilities
- Managing the end to end process from briefing, booking and post campaign analysis
- Weekly reporting on prospecting activity and sales
- Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions and other networking events
- Identify areas for growth and opportunities for clients
- Work alongside the Marketing Executive to develop sales material and tailored campaigns proposals
- Collaboration with the Bauer Media Audio Local Sales team
Your Skills:
- Effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to finalise sales
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a region and prioritise actively and effectively
- Data literate - comfortable using market data to develop leads
- Strong planning and forecasting skills to manage pipelines and reports
Your Profile:
- Comprehensive local market knowledge across the North West of Northern Ireland or the East of Northern Ireland
- Resilience and persistence - maintaining momentum in a fast-paced sales environment
- A desire to embark on a career in media and a passion for Out of Home
- Proactive commercial approach with a track record of developing new business and growing existing accounts
- Proven ability to meet and exceed weekly targets
- Previous experience in a sales role - ideally a minimum of 1 to 3 years
- Strong commercial acumen - able to align the benefits of the Bauer Media Outdoor portfolio with customer objectives
- Proactive and self motivated - able to work independently and take initiative in developing new business and creative customer solutions
- Confident and experience using Microsoft packages e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Prepared to work outside of scheduled hours as and when required to meet the needs of the business
A full time permanent position which offers flexible working hours outside our core schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We offer a hybrid working pattern which supports a balance of working from home 3 days a week and from our Belfast office 2 days a week.
Competitive Basic Salary with OTW of £35k to £40k.
