Job Purpose: As the Team Leader Procurement, you will lead a team of Purchasing Experts to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. You will oversee supply chain operations, manage supplier relationships, and implement process improvements, all while minimizing risks and costs.
Our Team: Join our multinational procurement team, currently based across Hamburg, the UK, and Poland. We are responsible for optimizing procurement processes across Bauer Media Group, driving savings, and supporting the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of Purchasing Experts.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
- Optimize procurement processes and monitor supplier performance.
- Use data to drive improvements and implement best practices.
- Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
What we are looking for:
- Procurement experience, including team leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience in procurement practices, with media industry knowledge a plus.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; SAP4Hana experience is a bonus.
- Fluent in English.
- CIPS certification is advantageous.
