Our mission is to create tech that makes a difference, empowers teams, delights customers, and shapes the media world of tomorrow. We’re one of the leading media advertising companies with over 33,000 advertising sites across the UK and EU. As part of the global Bauer Media Group, we’re committed to being both a platform for brands and a platform for good. From Netflix, Disney, The National Lottery, Heineken and many more, we advertise for some of the best brands which reach millions of people every day! We don’t just sell space, we deliver impact for our clients and value for the communities we serve.
About The Role
Our Back Office tools sit at the heart of two commercial relationships that matter. The first is with our landlords. They own the sites our assets sit on. Their confidence in us, their visibility of performance, and the speed at which we respond to their issues all shape whether we keep and grow that estate. The second is with our own Portfolio and Operations teams. They are the people who find new locations, install our assets, and keep them running. The speed and accuracy of their work directly drives how fast we can grow our estate and how reliably we deliver to our advertising clients. You will own the custom built products that support both relationships. Your job is not to build software, it's to make sure the landlord relationship gets stronger, the field operation gets faster, and the business has the tools it needs to grow. As part of your role, you will drive the adoption of Backoffice products across 9 European markets, maintaining a healthy balance between meeting local needs and standardisation across the BMO Group. You'll set the roadmap, agree priorities with senior stakeholders, and steer delivery through a mix of external partners and internal software engineering.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the vision, roadmap, and performance metrics for the landlord and field operations product portfolio (including Gateway, Survey Portal, and MapsLive).
- Translate business needs into clear product decisions, using data to justify trade-offs on cost, speed, and strategic value.
- Manage high-pace relationships with senior stakeholders, constructively challenging requests and managing priorities with clear reasoning and communication.
- Spend time on the ground with field teams and landlord‑facing colleagues to ensure product designs reflect real‑world operations.
- Oversee product delivery across both external partners and internal engineering teams, maintaining high execution standards.
- Own both the build and run phases of the product lifecycle, using incidents and user friction as insights to improve the roadmap.
- Line management of 5 PMs in 2027.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager or Product Owner managing custom-built software products.
- Track record of prioritizing roadmaps amidst urgent, competing demands, with the ability to clearly justify scoping decisions and timeframes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate with demanding senior leadership and communicate complex decisions in plain language.
- Ability to map operational processes and identify whether a problem requires a software fix or an operational change.
- Data-driven approach to product health, using support tickets, incidents, and user feedback to inform the roadmap.
- Experience working across a mixed delivery model of internal engineering teams and external partners is a plus.
What’s In It For You:
- 25 paid holidays including bank holidays.
- Company Pension Scheme paid up to 8%.
- Healthcare Cash Plan.
- Life Insurance and group income protection scheme.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Cover.
We believe in fairness and as an equal opportunities employer we work hard to foster an inclusive environment, a place where you can truly be yourself and be treated fairly. We’re interested in what you can do, not just what you’ve done. Even if you don’t meet every requirement listed, we’d still love to hear from you!
