Bauer Media Audio is looking for a Senior Backend/Platform Developer to play a key role in transforming digital audio experiences. If you’re a hands-on developer with a passion for high-performance back-end systems, mentoring, and DevOps excellence, this is your chance to shine!
Responsibilities include:
- Building and optimising scalable, secure, and resilient back-end systems in an AWS-hosted environment.
- Taking ownership of technical quality, helping shape architecture and strategy.
- Supporting DevOps adoption, including incident management, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Driving performance tuning, security best practices, and system scalability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience leading software development teams, ideally in media or audio streaming.
- Expertise in AWS, Cloudflare CDN, SQL, API design, and microservices.
- Strong programming skills in Go, TypeScript, PHP, or similar.
- Deep understanding of performance optimisation, debugging, and security best practices.
