You will be joining our local sales team at Bauer Audio who are the frontline of our commercial growth. They are tasked with the dual mission of defending our established client relationships against competition and prospecting hard for high-value new business. Representing the UK’s most iconic audio brands and our market‑leading digital platforms, this team delivers sophisticated, data‑led solutions.
The Difference you will make
As an Audio Sales Manager (Selling Manager) at Bauer Media, you will play a dual role as both a high‑performing individual contributor and an inspirational leader of a sales team. You will act as a key driver of Bauer’s commercial growth, leading from the front by delivering against your own revenue target while also coaching and developing your team to achieve collective success.
Your role
- Identify and secure new, high‑value advertisers to expand Bauer’s client base and market share.
- Defend and grow share from existing accounts, meeting KPI measured targets.
- Lead a sales team through direct line management, coaching and development.
- Monitor team performance, recognise high performance and address underperformance.
- Navigate complex client needs to uncover and capitalise on new opportunities.
- Act as a strategic partner, using deep market knowledge to align Bauer’s audio and digital offerings with client business objectives.
- Leverage modern social‑selling techniques to build meaningful customer relationships.
- Drive Audio‑Xi and digital revenues through compelling, insight‑led pitches.
- Manage inventory, pricing, and pipeline forecasting within CRM systems.
The Skills you will bring:
- Proven track record in a B2B sales environment working to KPIs or similar.
- History of securing high‑value new business and/or growing existing accounts.
- Strong leadership capability/potential with the ability to inspire, coach and develop others.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, prospect, and capitalise on growth opportunities in a competitive market.

Working Pattern/Location
This is a fulltime role, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with flexible working hours. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our offices in Newcastle and Teeside.
