We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Audio People team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and delivering practical, commercially focused HR support.
Our Audio People team partners with a fast-paced, creative business, supporting teams across the UK with effective, people-first HR support. We work collaboratively to ensure our HR practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
The Difference you will make
As an HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert HR support across the employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with managers to resolve challenges, improve performance, and embed best practice, while contributing to a strong and engaged team culture.
Your Role
- Employee Relations & Advisory
- Advise managers and employees on ER topics including performance, conduct, grievances, and absence.
- Provide practical, solutions-led HR advice to support business outcomes.
- Business Partnering & Collaboration
- Build effective working relationships across the business.
- Partner with HR colleagues to ensure consistent HR delivery.
- Support recruitment activity alongside Talent teams.
- Operational Delivery
- Coordinate with Payroll and HR Admin to ensure processes and systems are accurate.
- Support onboarding, inductions, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Provide HR data analysis and reporting support.
- Capability Building & Improvement
- Coach and support managers in performance management and development.
- Contribute to training initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement of HR policies and processes.
- Culture & Inclusion
- Promote diversity and inclusion through Bauer’s Belonging at Bauer strategy.
- Support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
The Skills you will bring
- Proven HR generalist experience (ideally 2+ years).
- Strong understanding of Employment Law (CIPD Level 5 desirable).
- Experience managing ER cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload under pressure.
- Analytical mindset with experience using HR data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality best practices.
Working Pattern/Location: This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in Manchester.
