You'll be joining the team behind one of the UK's most loved radio brands. Magic Radio entertains more than 3.4 million listeners with uplifting music, engaging entertainment, and meaningful moments that connect audiences with the music they love. Our family of stations includes Magic Radio, Magic Soul, Mellow Magic and Magic Musicals. We create content for audiences aged 35+ who are looking for positivity, companionship and great music throughout their day. It's a collaborative, creative environment where authenticity, passion and fresh ideas are encouraged.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a Producer, you'll play a key role in delivering some of Magic Radio's most loved programming, including the world-famous Mellow Magic Evening Show and Magic's flagship Sunday request show. You'll be responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with audiences while helping to maintain the warm, uplifting tone that defines the Magic brand. Working closely with presenters and the wider content team, you'll shape creative ideas, produce compelling features and ensure every programme reflects the needs and interests of its audience.

Your Role:

  • You’ll produce engaging live and pre-recorded content across Magic Radio, helping to deliver high-quality programming for a national audience.
  • Producing the Mellow Magic Evening Show and other Magic Radio programmes.
  • Developing and producing features, competitions and interviews for broadcast.
  • Working closely with presenters to create engaging and audience-focused content.
  • Generating creative ideas that deliver impact on air and across social media.
  • Supporting major station campaigns and initiatives from concept through to delivery.
  • Editing and preparing content for live and pre-recorded broadcasts.
  • Ensuring programmes maintain the highest editorial and production standards.
  • Contributing ideas that help grow and strengthen audience engagement across the Magic portfolio.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • At least 3 years' in-studio radio production experience.
  • Experience working with and supporting on-air talent.
  • Proven experience producing and editing broadcast content.
  • Strong editorial judgement and content creation skills.
  • Experience developing ideas that perform both on air and on social media.
  • Good editing and programme automation skills.
  • Experience with radio scheduling software or ability to learn Bauer systems.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly.
  • A positive, creative and collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of a 35+ audience.
  • Awareness of the Ofcom Broadcasting Code.

Working Pattern / Location: Permanent, full-time role based in London. Sunday to Thursday working pattern.
