You’ll be joining our Digital Content Team, a group of passionate storytellers who create engaging entertainment content for some of the UK’s most-loved radio brands – including Hits Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, KISS, Magic Radio, and more.
We work collaboratively across brands and platforms and while we’re fully remote, we stay connected and creative, sharing ideas and reacting quickly to the latest entertainment buzz.

As our Junior Content Writer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our audiences informed and entertained. You’ll be responsible for writing and publishing timely, engaging articles and social posts that reflect the latest in showbiz, music, and lifestyle. Whether it’s breaking news or evergreen features, your content will help Bauer Audio remain a trusted and exciting online destination.
This is a fast-paced, creative role that blends journalism, digital publishing, and social media expertise. You’ll be supported by experienced editors and work closely with other writers, contributing to a dynamic team that values fresh ideas and quick thinking.
Your role:
You’ll be focused on writing and publishing entertainment content across our digital platforms.
- Writing, editing, and publishing engaging entertainment and lifestyle articles.
- Reacting quickly to breaking stories and trending topics.
- Creating and scheduling content for social media channels.
- Selecting and editing imagery to complement articles and posts.
- Collaborating with editors and other writers to share and distribute content.
- Upholding Bauer’s brand values in every piece of content.
The Skills you will bring
- A passion for entertainment, music, and digital storytelling.
- Demonstrable writing experience (published work or portfolio).
- Ability to write quickly and clearly under pressure.
- Strong understanding of what resonates with online audiences.
- Basic knowledge of SEO (H2 and meta) and digital publishing tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently.
- Experience using CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Bauer brands and UK radio landscape.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a remote role with the option to work from your nearest Bauer office should you prefer. Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term (supporting a maternity cover).
