Bauer Media Audio’s Marketing Team is looking for a creative leader to launch and grow an exciting new Design Hub. The role, based in London or remotely, focuses on delivering bold, engaging creative for the UK’s most iconic radio brands – Magic Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, KISS, Absolute Radio, Hits Radio – as well as podcasts, social video, commercial events and the Rayo listening app.
Your Role
You’ll lead the newly formed Design Hub, a multidisciplinary team of talented designers and video producers. Together you will craft compelling creative that connects with millions of listeners and viewers while ensuring execution aligns with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key liaison between Design and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Lead the design team and provide art direction as required
- Manage a motion graphic designer and deliver brand video projects
- Oversee production timelines, budgets and resource allocation
- Implement scalable workflows using Monday.com
- Troubleshoot production challenges while maintaining creative integrity
- Provide guidance and development opportunities for the team
- Maintain a database of freelancers and manage freelance budgets
- Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation and continuous improvement
Required Skills
- Proven experience in creative leadership and production management
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience managing video animation and motion graphics projects
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a creative team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly creative with a strategic mindset
- Deep understanding of composition, colour science and design trends
