You’ll be joining our passionate and purpose-driven Cash for Kids team, part of Bauer Media’s Audio UK division. We’re a small but mighty group dedicated to supporting under-18s who are sick, disabled, or underprivileged across the UK. You’ll work remotely with regular visits to our offices, collaborating with local radio stations and stakeholders to deliver impactful fundraising campaigns. Our team thrives on energy, creativity, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
The Difference you will make
As Charity Manager, you’ll lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Cash for Kids across Liverpool, North West, North Wales, and Lancashire. You’ll be the driving force behind fundraising campaigns, corporate partnerships, and community engagement. Your ability to build strong relationships, deliver compelling presentations, and inspire support will directly impact the lives of children in need. This is a high-profile role where your passion and leadership will help grow our reach and deepen our impact.
Your role
You’ll be responsible for leading fundraising efforts, managing relationships, and delivering successful campaigns and events.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies and high-profile campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporates, schools, and community groups.
- Identify and secure new fundraising opportunities and partnerships.
- Lead PR and marketing initiatives to raise awareness of the charity.
- Oversee grant applications and liaise with the Local Executive Board.
- Collaborate with radio station stakeholders to deliver on-air appeals.
- Recruit and manage volunteers and street teams.
- Maximise fundraising potential of all events and activities.
- Work from the Mission Christmas warehouse during November and December.
The Skills you will bring
Required:
- Proven experience in sales, corporate partnerships, or fundraising.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Passion for charity work and community engagement.
- Experience in charity fundraising, events, marketing or PR.
- Strong local corporate contacts in Liverpool, North West, North Wales and Lancashire.
- Confident, personable, and enthusiastic with a sense of humour.
- Knowledge of tactical PR and event management.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Liverpool, North West, North Wales and Lancashire, with remote working and regular office visits.
