Cash for Kids is the in-house charity of Bauer Media, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children across the UK. From poverty and illness to neglect and additional needs, we work with grassroots organisations and families to bring hope and opportunity where it’s needed most. With 22 regional teams, we’re a close-knit, passionate group committed to changing lives—one child at a time.
The Role
As a Charity Fundraising Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our Midlands team, leading fundraising efforts across Staffordshire and Cheshire. You’ll build strong local partnerships, deliver creative campaigns, and help grow our presence in the community.
This is a dynamic, hands-on contract role where no two days are the same. From organising events to managing donor relationships and supporting our flagship campaign, Mission Christmas, you’ll play a vital role in driving our impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and nurturing relationships with local businesses, schools, and community groups.
- Planning and delivering fundraising events and campaigns.
- Supporting the Charity Manager with day-to-day operations, including financial admin and grant processes.
- Managing your own KPIs and contributing to team income targets.
- Representing Cash for Kids at networking events and in the media.
- Keeping our website and social media channels fresh and engaging.
What we’re looking for:
- A confident communicator with a flair for relationship-building.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Creative and enthusiastic, with a passion for community impact.
- Experience in fundraising, sales, or events is a bonus—but attitude and drive are key.
- Willingness to travel across the region and attend events.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
